Japanese Oral Interview

Overview

The Japanese placement exam is a two-part process: 1) the Canvas exam, and 2) the oral interview.

The Canvas portion of the Japanese placement exam is provisional. Upon completion of the Canvas exam, you will be notified that your provisional results are available on the Check Results portal.

To receive your final placement, you must complete the oral interview with Marco Fonseca (msilvafo@uci.edu).

Details

Please complete the language background survey form and forward it to Marco prior to your scheduled time. You should have a valid photo ID ready at the time of the interview.

Upon completion of the oral interview, the interviewer will notify the Academic Testing Center of your final placement and we will authorize you for that course.
