Korean Oral Interview

Overview

The Korean placement exam is a two-part process: 1) the Canvas exam, and 2) the oral interview.

The Canvas portion of the Korean placement exam is provisional. Upon completion of the Canvas exam, you will be notified that your provisional results are available on the Check Results portal.

To receive your final placement, you must complete the oral interview with Hyunyoung Hyun (hhyun@uci.edu).

Details

Please email a copy of your completed language background survey form to Hyunyoung prior to your scheduled interview time. You should also have a valid photo ID ready to present at the time of the Zoom interview.

Upon completion of the oral interview, the interviewer will notify the Academic Testing Center of your final placement and we will authorize you for that course.
