ICS Credit by Exams

The Academic Testing Center administers examinations for ICS 31, 45C, and 45J for credit during the summer. These exams test students’ mastery of the materials for each course, and may only be taken once. Students who have already received credit for a course cannot replace their existing grade through the exam(s).

Dates for the ICS Credit By Exams are posted on the Current Test Dates page at the end of Spring quarter. Registration is limited and available through CampusGroups on a first-come, first serve basis. A non-refundable $5 fee is due at registration. You may only take one exam per session and  no re-takes are allowed. No exceptions are granted.

After receiving a grade for the examination, the student may choose to accept or reject. If the student accepts the examination’s result, the grade will be reflected on the official transcript once grades are posted.
